This year’s Hard Hat Gala was a meaningful and memorable evening, bringing the community together in support of the Gilbert Victim Advocacy Center. Guests experienced a behind-the-scenes tour that followed the story of a survivor, highlighting the critical services the center will provide, while sharing moments of reflection, connection, and inspiration throughout the night. The event also celebrated the announcement of Trinity Donovan as Executive Director and successfully raised over $50,000 to support victims during the first 72 hours after a traumatic event. These funds will help provide essential resources—from safe shelter and clothing to food and transportation—ensuring survivors have the immediate support they need to begin their path toward healing.
Gilbert Advocacy Center steaming toward completion
Phase One of Gilbert Victim Advocacy Center is nearing completion, with a grand opening anticipated later this year. The new facility will centralize victim services currently provided across multiple cities, creating a more streamlined, supportive experience for individuals impacted by crimes such as human trafficking, child abuse, and sexual assault. Led by Executive Director Trinity Donovan and supported by the Gilbert Police Department, the center reflects years of planning and community input. Once operational, it will offer comprehensive services—including counseling and aftercare for both adults and children—helping reduce trauma and improve access to critical resources for Gilbert residents.
